Estimate exactly what you need for your project.
Enter your project dimensions below to calculate the amount of material you'll need. Our calculator includes a customizable overage percentage to account for settling and waste. How to measure
Measure the length and width of the area in feet. For depth, most driveways require 4-6 inches of material. If you're creating a new driveway, consider 6 inches for better stability.
Measure the length of your drainage run and the width of the trench. Typical French drain trenches are 12-18 inches wide and 18-24 inches deep. Use #57 gravel or #4 limestone for best results.
For irregular areas, break them into smaller rectangles, calculate each section separately, and add the totals together. Always add 10-15% overage for settling and waste.
